Kilimo Corps Agripreneurship Programme

A practical enterprise-development pathway for young people who want to identify agricultural opportunities, test viable ideas and build market-oriented ventures.

Programme overview

Structured support for participant progression

The programme connects practical agricultural learning with responsible decision-making, enterprise thinking and market opportunity. Participants move beyond knowing how to produce: they learn to understand customers, organise an operation, exchange value and build with purpose.

The challenge and opportunity

Programme rationale

Young people often encounter agriculture as either theory or production training, with too little support for market validation, enterprise design and practical implementation. This programme provides a connected, practice-led pathway from learning to enterprise action.
